Cornelia “Connie” Giannangeli

 

Cornelia “Connie” M. Giannangeli, 70, of Park Ridge, NJ formerly Lansford passed away Tuesday morning at home. 

Connie was born in Coaldale on January 20, 1949.  

She was the daughter of the late Marie (Breslin) and Francis “Spike” Owens.     

She was the wife of Gerald D. Giannangeli.  

Connie was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Class of 1967. She then attended school in Allentown where she studied to be a phlebotomist.

She was of the Catholic faith. 

Connie last worked as an administrator for Allied Medical Labs in Manhattan. 

She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her spouse, she is survived by; son Gerald Giannangeli at home; son Owen Giannangeli at home; daughter Erin Giannangeli at home; brother James Owens, Factoryville; brother Patrick Owens husband of Judy, Lake Hauto; sister Peggy Beddiges wife of Paul, Lehighton. 

Also surviving many are nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11that 12:00 noon, at Immaculate Conception Church, 180 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe PA 18229.  Family and friends are invited to call at the church from 11:00 AM-noon on Saturday. Burial will take place following services at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Jim Thorpe.
