Donald J. Rusnak Sr.

Donald J. Rusnak Sr., 78, of Minersville formerly Summit Hill passed away Saturday August 21st  at his home.

Donald was born in Coaldale on October 13, 1942.  

He was the son of the late Anna (Petrash) and Frank Rusnak.   

Donald was of the Catholic faith. 

He was the husband of Cecilia M. (Keip) Rusnak.

Donald was a graduate of Summit Hill High School, Class of 1960 and Jim Thorpe VoTech-Machinist School. 

He worked most of his career as a machinist / maintenance mechanic for Bonney Forge-Allentown for over 25 years.

Don was a member of Polish Club-Summit Hill and was a former president of Panther Valley Football Boosters.   

He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. 

Donald was preceded in death by a brother Frank Rusnak.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; sister Virginia Jones wife of Robert, Summit Hill; son Donald J. Rusnak Jr. husband of Marie, Franklin Twp; daughter Diane M. Pritiskutch wife of Joseph, Forestville.  He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Don’s services and internment will be private at the family’s convenience.
